CORRECT: RBA to Review Ties With KPMG After Auditing Scandal

The Reserve Bank of Australia will likely not reappoint accounting firm KPMG to run its whistleblower phone hotline, Governor Michele Bullock told senators at a hearing.

  • The Bank had previously outsourced the “Fair Call” hotline to KPMG, but will now be seeking new bids for that, Bullock said, adding that “I don’t think we’ll be reappointing them to the whistleblower service”
