Palantir Planned Database Risks Taxpayer Info, Democrats Say (1)

Democrats are demanding answers from data analysis and technology firm Palantir Technologies Inc. on what lawmakers say will be a governmentwide “mega-database” with taxpayer information for federal agencies.

Senate Finance Committee ranking member Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), along with eight other lawmakers, sent a letter to Palantir Tuesday questioning its expansion of government contracts under the Trump administration.
