Oil Refiners Sue US for $456 Million in Alternative Fuel Credits

Petroleum refineries in Texas and Ohio sued the US to recover nearly $456 million they say the IRS wrongfully collected after failing to recognize their entitlement to the Alternative Fuel Mixture Credit.

Marathon Petroleum Co. LP, Tesoro Alaska Co. LLC, and Tesoro Refining & Marketing Co.
