NZ’s Financial Markets Authority is seeking feedback on a plan to allow some businesses more time to report on how they are responding to climate change, according to emailed statement.
- Legislation requires climate statements to be lodged within four months of balance date and be included with a company’s annual report
- However NZX listed companies must file annual reports within three months
