New Hampshire’s unemployment tax rates for the first quarter of 2026 are unchanged from the previous quarter, according to an update on New Hampshire Employment Security.
Tax rates range from 0.1% to 1.7% for positive-rated employers, with a solvency threshold tax reduction of one percentage point, according to the agency’s tax rate table and the state’s tax rate schedules. Tax rates for negative-rated employers range from 3.3% to 7.5%, including a surcharge of 0.5 percentage points.
