Missouri’s income tax rates decreased in its 2024 withholding formula, which was released Nov. 29 by the state revenue department.
Tax rates used in the withholding formula range from zero to 4.8%, instead of zero to 4.95%. The supplemental tax rate also decreased to 4.8%.
The standard deductions used in the formula increased to $29,200, from $27,700, for married employees with nonworking spouses; to $21,900, from $20,800, for heads of household; and to $14,600, from $13,850, for other filing statuses.
