A wave of private equity investment into mid-sized UK accounting firms appears to have leveled off, although the industry continues to change rapidly amid technology advances and government policy shifts, a survey by a professional accounting body found.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales released a survey of mid-sized member firms Friday that found interest in accepting private equity investment “may be reaching a plateau.”
