McDonald’s, Wells Fargo Chief Accountants Join US Advisory Panel

McDonald’s Corp. and Wells Fargo & Co. chief accountants are among other executives joining a panel tasked with advising the US accounting board on its agenda and priorities.

The Financial Accounting Foundation’s board of trustees said Monday 13 new members have been appointed to the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council. The group advises the Financial Accounting Standards Board, which establishes accounting rules for organizations that follow generally accepted accounting principles, or GAAP.
