Large Australian Corporations Pay Record A$97.9 Billion in Taxes

Australia collected its largest corporate tax haul in history last year, reporting a record A$97.9 billion ($6.4 billion) in taxes paid by large corporations.

The Australian Corporate Tax Association said the number was an increase of A$14.1 billion from the year before, a release by the group said.

The data covers companies with A$100 million or more of annual turnover.
