KPMG LLP chief accountant Angie Storm is joining an advisory group that recommends timely financial reporting projects for the US accounting standard-setter to place on its agenda to address emerging issues.
Storm, the top accountant in KPMG’s department of professional practice, is the newest member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s emerging issues task force, FASB Chair Richard Jones said in a statement Monday. The group includes industry leaders from across the Big Four accounting firms and publicly-traded companies.
