JD Vance Sees Potential for ‘Great’ UK-US Trade Agreement

US Vice President JD Vance said it’s likely Donald Trump’s administration will seal an economic agreement with the UK that benefits both nations, in a boost to the British government’s efforts to cut trade barriers.

“There’s a good chance that, yes, we’ll come to a great agreement that’s in the best interest of both countries,” Vance told the UnHerd website in an interview, signaling that Britain has an easier pathway to a deal than other European nations. “With the United Kingdom, we have a much more reciprocal relationship than we have with, say, Germany,” he said.
