Global investment powerhouse KKR & Co. will acquire a “significant” equity stake in Crowe LLP, a top 20 accounting firm, the two firms said Thursday.
The infusion of capital will drive investments in staff and technology, while also supporting the accounting and advisory firm’s business strategy, Crowe said. Financial terms of the deal, set to close in the third quarter, were not disclosed.
“This strategic partnership is about staying ahead of what our clients need and making sure we’re equipped to deliver,” Steven Strammello, Crowe’s CEO, said in a statement.
