Six Ohio municipalities passed income tax increases in the Nov. 8 elections that will take effect on Jan. 1, 2024, according to unofficial election results.
The tax rate in Hartville, Lebanon, and Dalton will rise to 1.5% from 1%. New Concord will increase its income tax rate to 2.25% from 1.5%. Wilmot will increase its income tax rate to 1.75% from 1%. The tax rate in Woodlawn will rise to 2.6% from 2.3%.
Election results are unofficial until certified.
