Ernst & Young LLP has nominated the leader driving its audit improvement efforts to helm the US accounting and advisory firm.

Dante D’Egidio, vice chair for assurance for EY Americas, has been tapped as the nominee to succeed Julie Boland as the Big Four firm’s US managing partner, pending a ratification vote by partners over the coming weeks. Partners learned of D’Egidio’s selection on Thursday, a source familiar with internal firm deliberations said.
