The Big Four accounting and consulting firms are looking to future-proof their workforces as the AI revolution pressures them to maintain the value of their core product: the expertise of their thousands of professionals.

PwC LLP has revamped its learning and development program aimed at balancing AI fluency with traditional business skills like critical thinking and creativity, the US firm said Thursday.

“One doesn’t go without the other especially in a relationships business like ours because it is our experience and our context that really brings the value to life,” Yolanda Seals-Coffield, PwC’s chief people officer, said.
