BDO is overhauling its global structure in a push to operate as a more unified international organization, the Financial Times reports, citing people familiar with the matter.

• The move has been discussed internally since January and gathered pace at an international partner meeting in October
• Will start by merging clusters of firms by revenues
  • Largest firms — including the US, UK and German businesses — are expected to lead bids for smaller firms
• Plan could take more than a decade to achieve, and progress would depend on the clustering process
