Westchester Park Exempt from Property Tax, New York Court Rules

A park in Westchester County, N.Y., can keep its property tax exemption because it’s public, a state appellate court said Wednesday.

  • The county hired a private entity to manage and operate the park, but the park is still owned by the government and used for public purposes, the court said
