Virginia Gets Higher Standard Deduction as Youngkin Signs Budget

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin on Tuesday signed the state deal that would provide about $4 billion in a variety of tax cuts and benefits.

“This is four times any tax reduction ever voted in Virginia. This is big,” Youngkin said in a press conference. “It’s not everything we wanted, but we’ll be back in January to get the rest.”
