Treasury Promotes Tax Breaks from GOP Law With New Website

The Treasury Department is promoting tax cuts from the 2025 GOP law with a new website.

The website intends to give people more information on how the IRS is implementing the tax breaks from the law and how to claim them.

The Republican tax law included breaks for businesses, new tax deductions for overtime and tipped workers, and a new type of investment account geared toward children. It also largely rolled back the energy tax credits expanded by Democrats in 2022.
