The Treasury Department is planning to release guidance by the end of this year on a number of key provisions included in Republicans’ 2025 tax bill, according to a top department official.
The Trump administration is looking to provide guidance on changes to the treatment of executive compensation at tax-exempt organizations, business meals and entertainment, and deductions for pass-through entities, among others, according to Kevin Salinger, deputy assistant secretary for tax policy at the Treasury Department.
