Supreme Court Bounces Suit Over Planned Parenthood Medicaid Pay

A federal appeals court will get another chance to decide if a state can deny a Planned Parenthood affiliate Medicaid payments for non-abortion related care, thanks to the US Supreme Court.

The nation’s top court Tuesday granted review, vacated the judgment, and sent the case back to the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit to determine if a decision issued by the high court this term controls the case. This procedure is known as a GVR.
