Slovakia Mulls Digital Services Tax to Shore Up Budget

Slovakia’s investment ministry is pushing for the country to adopt a domestic digital services tax as part of government efforts to consolidate public finances.

The new tax could bring between €30 million ($35 million) and €100 million annually, depending on its scope and rate, said Radomír Šalitroš, first state secretary for the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatics.
