Thune Seeks Second Megabill Ideas
Senate GOP leadership isn’t ruling out a second take at partisan legislation that is advanced through the budget reconciliation process, though there are considerable obstacles, Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) said.
Thune told reporters that leadership has “encouraged our relevant committees to come up with ideas on potentially something could be in a recon 2.0 bill.”
