Russia Plans Tax Holidays, 300b Ruble Crisis Fund: Vedomosti

Proposed plan also includes tax holidays for businesses, paid leave for quarantined workers, Vedomosti reports, citing two government officials it didn’t identify. The 300b-ruble fund will be formed in part by optimising budget spending, paper says.

• Other proposed measures include:
  • Allowing state cos to delay dividend payments by 6 months
  • Ensuring materials available for virus tests
  • Tax holidays apply in first instance to airlines and tourism companies, other industries under consideration
  • SMEs may be able to delay tax payments on a quarterly basis
