IRS Digitization Push Delays Refunds for Some
Trump’s executive order to end most paper refund checks has been successful. Roughly 78.5 million taxpayers received refunds via direct deposit, up 10% from last year, according to the latest numbers from the IRS. But that rapid push has come at a cost, Bloomberg Tax’s Chris Cioffi reports.
