OECD to Solve Minimum Tax Deal Before Pillar One, Official Says

International negotiations on the allocation of taxing rights will resume after outstanding issues regarding the global minimum tax are resolved, an OECD official said Friday.

Eric Robert, senior adviser at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, said “all the focus” of the body’s tax forum is on revising the minimum tax “before coming back to Pillar One,” referring to the commitment to reallocate taxing rights to jurisdictions where large companies make revenue.
