The Minnesota Department of Revenue (DOR) published changes to the state’s tax code that were recently signed into law. The changes, effective for tax year 2025 and beyond, include new income tax subtractions for individuals related to coerced debt forgiveness, consumer compensation, foreign service retirement, and union stipend payments, modifications to tax credits and rebate programs, and revisions to sales, excise, and business income taxes.
