Michigan Treasury Sets November Prepaid Sales Tax Rates for Gasoline and Diesel

The Michigan Department of Treasury announced the prepaid sales tax rates on gasoline and diesel fuel for November 2025. Effective November 1 through 30, the prepaid sales tax rate for gasoline is 16.0 cents per gallon and the rate for diesel fuel is 19.1 cents per gallon. These rates are determined monthly by the Department based on statewide average retail prices and are required under Section 6a(4) of the General Sales Tax Act. [Mich.
