The IRS is moving 1,000 IT employees to its chief operating officer umbrella, the agency announced to impacted workers Thursday.
“I recognize that transitions of this kind can bring uncertainty, and I appreciate your professionalism and continued service throughout this period of change,” IRS Chief Informaton Officer Kaschit Pandya said in an email to employees seen by Bloomberg Tax. Pandya previously oversaw these workers.
