The IRS has published its Internal Revenue Bulletin. The bulletin includes: 1) the interest rates on overpayments and underpayments of tax effective Jan. 1, 2026; 2) relief from certain penalties related to information reporting required in connection with no tax on tips and overtime; and 3) a revenue procedure that describes a safe harbor for trusts that otherwise qualify as investment trusts under § 301.7701- 4(c) and as grantor trusts to stake their digital assets without jeopardizing their tax status as investment trusts and grantor trusts for Federal income tax purpose.
