The Illinois Department of Revenue (DOR) adopted amendments to the rule governing electronic filing of tax returns. The regulation: 1) details the methods by which taxpayers can provide electronic signatures when required to file documents electronically; and 2) outlines the procedures for using signatures not explicitly permitted without department approval.
