Hungary Floats Revamp of Transfer Pricing Documentation Rules

Hungary is seeking feedback on a comprehensive revision of the country’s transfer pricing documentation requirements.

The proposal announced by the Ministry of National Economy on Tuesday aims to enhance clarity and scope of required information while easing administrative burdens for smaller transactions.

Transfer pricing refers to the way companies value transactions between related parties.

  • It would replace a 2017 ministerial decree on transfer pricing documentation and apply first to 2026 tax year reporting. The consultation runs through Dec. 10.
