Hoyer Sees Congress Needing Stopgap Measure to Fund Government

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer says it’s likely lawmakers will need to pass a stopgap funding measure to keep the U.S. govt open after Sept. 30.

  • “It is likely that we will have to pass a continuing resolution to keep government open past the end of this fiscal year,” Hoyer, Democrat of Maryland, says in a message to House members
