The business-friendly provisions in the Republicans’ 2025 tax law are welcome, the tax head at Herbalife said, but certainty on the global minimum tax is paramount.
“I applaud all the permanency and fixes and glitches that were resolved with OB3,” said Scott Schroeder, vice president of tax reporting and operations at Herbalife, referring to the GOP tax law. “But I would trade that in a heartbeat for certainty” on the global minimum tax, he continued.
