GOP, Chamber Ramp Up Pressure on Treasury Over OECD Tax Deal

Republicans and one of the largest spenders on lobbying kept up a pressure campaign on the Treasury Department, urging global tax deal negotiators to reexamine key provisions of the deal and seek input from Congress.

Ways and Means Reps. Carol Miller (R-W.Va.) and Ron Estes (R-Kan.) blasted Treasury for its role in negotiating the OECD agreement in a new letter sent Monday to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.
