House Passes GOP Health Bill

The House Wednesday passed a Republican bill aimed at addressing rising health-care costs without extending the enhanced Obamacare tax credits, but a Democrat-led bill to extend the credits for three years is poised to get a vote early next year.

The GOP bill passed 216-211. While the measure is unlikely to pass the Senate, it’s the latest development on an issue where Congress has struggled to reach consensus.
