Germany Asks for Input on New Global Minimum Tax Rollout

Germany is seeking feedback on its implementation of the 15% global corporate minimum tax, as the US puts pressure on the tax deal and seeks to implement a side-by-side system to shelter US companies from impacts of the levy.

The Federal Ministry of Finance posted a consultation Monday seeking input by Oct. 6 on draft regulations implementing the Minimum Tax Act.

The draft details how companies are to comply with the new tax and report their information to the authorities and how the country plans to implement provisions of the tax.
