Judges on a Florida appeals court panel appeared skeptical during oral arguments Thursday that the state’s tax agency doesn’t owe interest on a tax refund provided to 7-Eleven Inc.'s fuel company.
SEI Fuel Services Inc. told the District Court of Appeal For the First District of Florida that state law requires interest on its $3.18 million refund because it was for an overpayment of taxes.
