Oct. 15, 2025, 1:44 PM UTC

The Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) proposed amendments to the rules concerning definitions, interest on unpaid tax liabilities, and adoption of departmental procedures. The proposed changes would remove an unnecessary definition of “department,” eliminate outdated examples of interest calculations, and update the instructions for obtaining forms from the DOR. Comments on the proposed rules are due by Oct. 31. A public hearing is scheduled for Nov. 4, if requested. [Fla. Dep’t of Revenue, Proposed Regs. Sections 12-3.0012, et al., 10/10/25 Fla. Admin.
