Dalio to Announce Contribution to Trump Accounts, Bessent Says

Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio will announce a “generous contribution” to fund Trump Accounts for children in Connecticut, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said.

• “The president is calling on our nation’s business leaders and philanthropic organizations to help us make America great again by securing the financial future of America’s children,” Bessent said Wednesday.
• NOTE: Bessent speaks at a press conference in Washington.
• Bessent said they are asking donors in all 50 states to contribute.
