Czech Republic Gazettes Notice Announcing Increased Minimum Wage Rates, Specified Monthly Surcharge for 2026

The Czech Official Gazette Sept. 24 published Notice No. 356/2025 Coll., announcing the increased hourly and monthly minimum wage rates, and the increased minimum and maximum monthly surcharge amounts for work in a difficult environment, effective Jan. 1, 2026. The announcement includes increases to: 1) 134.40 Czech korunas (US$6.46) from 124.40 korunas (US$5.97) in the hourly minimum wage rate; 2) 22,400 korunas (US$1,074.32) from 20,800 korunas (US$997.58) in the monthly minimum wage rate; 3) 1,120 korunas (US$53.72) from 1,040 korunas (US$49.88) in the minimum monthly surcharge; and 4) 3,360 korunas (US$161.15) from 3,120 korunas (US$149.64) in the maximum monthly surcharge. ...
