Curaleaf Holdings Inc., one of the most valuable U.S. cannabis companies, has hired a new chief compliance officer following the departure of two former top in-house lawyers.
A spokeswoman for Curaleaf, which last year made a nearly $1 billion bet on cannabis oil, confirmed to Bloomberg Law that James Shorris joined the company last month as chief compliance officer. His hire had not yet been publicly announced.
