Canada Rescinds Digital Services Tax to Advance US Trade Talks

Canadian Minister of Finance and National Revenue François-Philippe Champagne says that Canada would rescind the Digital Services Tax in anticipation of a mutually beneficial comprehensive trade arrangement with US, according to a statement.

  • Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and US President Donald Trump have agreed that parties will resume negotiations with a view towards agreeing on a deal by July 21
