It’s time to step back and assess prior work undertaken at the OECD to tax the digital economy, a top US Treasury Department official said.
The comments by Rebecca Burch, the Treasury deputy assistant secretary for international tax affairs, came in response to a question on Thursday at the 2025 DC Bar Tax Conference, over how the Trump administration views the status of Pillar One of global tax pact.
