Now that the House Budget Committee lawmakers have floated a $4.5 trillion tax cut limit for the Ways and Means panel in its resolution, the hard part is coming for Congress’ tax writers.
“We’re going to have to make tough choices, and we’ll see how it plays out,” said Rep. Blake Moore (R-Utah), a Ways and Means member who also sits on the House Budget Committee. “Everybody’s got a little angst around it.”
