7-Eleven Gas Company Gets Interest on $3 Million Fuel Tax Refund

7-Eleven Inc.'s wholly owned fuel company is entitled to interest on a court-ordered $3.18 million fuel tax refund because it submitted a completed refund claim, a Florida appeals court held Wednesday.

SEI Fuel Services Inc. properly made a valid refund claim so it’s automatically entitled to interest under Florida Statutes § 213.255, the District Court of Appeal For the First District of Florida said.
