The Wyoming Governor March 15 signed a law relating to mobile home and vehicle titles and transfers for sales and use and excise tax purposes. The law includes measures: 1) providing that the county clerk shouldn’t deliver a certificate of title until the owner presents either a receipt for payment of the sales tax or a county treasurer’s receipt noting a valid sales tax exemption; 2) clarifying that an interest in a motor vehicle or mobile home may be transferred by any one co-owner unless the title states it is held in joint tenancy with right of survivorship, in tenancy ...
