Tillis Calls on GOP to Embrace ACA Tax Credit Two-Year Extension

Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) has warned fellow Republicans they must extend enhanced Obamacare tax credits and address cuts to provider payments under Medicaid—or risk antagonizing voters.

If Republicans fail to extend the premium tax credits, people will lose access to Affordable Care Act marketplace plans as they start to comprehend what the Republican Medicaid cuts will do to health care right before the midterm elections, Tillis said.
