Texas Comptroller Announces Changes to San Antonio Sales and Use Tax

The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts announced upcoming changes to local sales and use tax rates in San Antonio, effective Jan. 1, 2026. The city of San Antonio has abolished an additional city sales and use tax for sports venues. Also, the San Antonio Advanced Transportation District has increased its transit sales and use tax rate.
