Tax Break Bill for NHL’s Devils Arena Gains Steam in Legislature

New Jersey lawmakers are advancing a proposed $300 million tax incentive toward upgrades at the Prudential Center in Newark in the final days of the state’s legislative session.

• The Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee unanimously approved a bill on Thursday creating new tax credits for the arena, which is home to the NHL’s New Jersey Devils.
